Certified Dog Trainer
Dog training is an unregulated industry in the UK. However, there are boards established to give you, the consumer, peace of mind. The IMDT (Institute of Modern Dog Trainers) is one such board that is based on positive reinforcement, and science-based dog training. I am a fully Qualified member, who passed with Merit and is continuing to work closely with the organisation. You can see my membership certificate here and also find me as a registered trainer on their site.

Seeing how much our dog, Ted, has grown to love Maria has been amazing. She is kind and considerate, her passion for dogs truly shows and you know she always has your pet's best interests at heart!
Maria regularly walked our dog over several years and looked after our dog and two cats many times while we were on holiday. I can unreservedly recommend her. She's completely reliable and trustworthy, has a real bond with animals, and is a lovely mix: kind, fun, and sensible. Our dog is besotted with her!
Maria has an instinct around animals and as a result, they have an affinity towards her. She has looked after our family pets for many years and our dog always looks forward to her visits. She is highly competent, well-planned, and can be trusted. She has also helped in training our dog and set good behavioral practices to create a less stressful environment.
Maria has helped me with Alfie for a few months now and I’m seeing great progress in his behaviour using the techniques provides I would definitely recommend using Maria to help you
Used Maria’s dog walking services to walk the family black lab, Moose, a few months ago.
He is very strong on lead and can be a little anxious, sometimes barking unpredictably when coming into contact with other dogs or people.
Maria was very confident and mentioned she’d had experience with dogs who were not well behaved and on his return from his walks with her he was notably calm and content.
Maria herself is very calm and I can only assume that her calm nature positively influenced his behaviour.
She also reported he’d not displayed any of the unpredictable behaviour she’d been warned about.
He was certainly very excited to see her when she came back on the second day but not boisterously so and he responded obediently to all of her commands.
Would definitely recommend Maria to other dog owners – she is professional, punctual, polite and reliable and most importantly Moose liked her .
Maria has so helpful to us since we adopted Kingsley. He struggles with lead reactivity, but through training sessions and quality time with Maria, picking away at her wisdom, we've found him to be calmer and easier to control, bringing back the joy of dog walking again. Maria is kind, dedicated and loyal, no matter the circumstances of your pup - she is determined to make a difference to the life of your dog and yourself
